With the win, Jurrjens’s record goes to 12-10, while Figueroa falls to 2-6.
Brian McCann provided much of the offense for the Braves with an incredible 4 runs batted in. In addition to the 7 runs, the Braves managed 13 hits and committed one error. Martin Prado led the Braves in hitting with 3 hits, followed by Yunel Escobar’s 2 hits, and Nate McLouth with 2. Garret Anderson had a tough day at the plate, leaving 4 runners on base. Daniel Murphy had the most hits for the Mets (3), followed by Wilson Valdez (2). The Mets mustered 3 runs, 9 hits and no errors.
